Privacy Policy

Who we are

Morph is a Chrome extension developed by Acid Labs. It allows users to edit live webpages using AI, without writing code. You can reach us at hello@acid.app.

What data we collect

We collect nothing. Morph does not transmit any data to our servers. Specifically:

• API key — stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. Never sent to us.
• Page content — sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's API using your own API key. We never see it.
• Usage data — we collect no analytics, no crash reports, no telemetry.
• Personal information — we do not ask for your name, email, or any account details.

Third-party services

Morph uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate UI suggestions. When you send a prompt, your browser communicates directly with Anthropic using your own API key. This communication is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We are not a party to that transaction.

Permissions explained

• activeTab — to read and modify the page you are currently editing.
• storage — to save your API key locally on your device.
• sidePanel — to display the Morph panel alongside your page.
• scripting — to inject CSS and UI changes into the active page.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

Data retention

Since we collect no data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Your API key is stored locally and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage.

Children's privacy

Morph is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. We will notify users via the Chrome Web Store listing.
